Verbier Town

Located in a wide sunny bowl, with breathtaking views of the mountains that separate Switzerland, Italy and France, Verbier offers the very best in alpine charm. However, don’t be fooled into thinking this is a quiet town, the nightlife and après ski in Verbier is truly difficult to beat.

Facilities

Altitude is based in one of the best mountain resorts in the World. Verbier is a high class winter and summer resort hosting celebrities such as Hugh Grant, Les Ferdinand, Gary Barlow, Victoria Beckham and James Blunt.

Verbier offers all the Alpine charm of a small Swiss Village combined with the essential entertainments of a larger city. The local sports centre caters for all your sporting needs; there are 3 supermarkets, a cinema, electrical stores, butchers and bakers, and a large variety of sports and clothes shops.

Of course there are also lots of bars and restaurants, 4 nightclubs for the après ski…

The fun starts at the 1936 bar on the mountain, this is a great place to relax in the sun after a hard day of skiing/boarding. The Farinet located in the centre of the town is the venue for live bands and extreme après ski. This is a lively bar for those happy to dance the evening away in ski/board boots, but be warned you may be required to dance on the bar or even perform a stage dive.

There are of course also a few nightclubs in town open until around 4am. In Verbier you can certainly ski hard by day and party hard by night.
